Hadouken! 0

So with the recent release of Street Fighter IV comes a slew of hang outs at both Wil and Dan K’s place in order to finally get my virtual fighting on after all these years. Obviously the series is an all time favourite among the masses. Street Fighter II was my very first fighting game! Ahh the memories.
However, I have no idea it would be THIS HARD, I mean, hair-pulling, frustration screaming hard. My thumbs are sore from hitting the D-Pad, and no, I can’t use the damn joystick on the 360 controller, it just feels awkward! At first I thought I’d try it on medium and pretty much had my butt handed to me. I had to lower the difficulty setting down to “Easy” in order to taste some sort of success. After another few grueling matches with different characters, I decided to go down to the lowest of the low — the “Easiest” difficulty… yup, epic fail!
But it’s just so fun, and pulling off those combos and EX/Ultra specials just feels so very satisfying, I’m getting better thanks to many matches with Peter, Wil, and Dan K, and I think I’m going to purchase it for my own PS3 in the near future, as in, maybe sometime this week.
Checking out the official website, I found a cool campaign called “My Fist Your Face” that allows you to put your face onto characters, pretty fun stuff, here’s me as Ryu, Hadouken!
