George’s Iron Ring!

If anyone sees my buddy George Y. sometime soon, give him a big pat on the back and congratulate him, because just a few hours ago he has obtained his Iron Ring from the University of Toronto. For those of you that aren’t familiar with the ceremony, the fitting of the Iron Ring on the little finger is a part of “The Ritual of the Calling of an Engineer”, and serves as a constant remainder to the Engineers of their obligations, duties, and responsibilities. To say that this event is a huge deal would be an understatement, so congrats George and Joyce! And don’t worry, if I were you, I wouldn’t want to take the ring off either!
