What is wrong with me? I seriously have not touched my poor D80 for so long. Today I realized that the new Flickr Uploadr 3.0.2 was released more than a month ago. A MONTH!

Nevertheless, I’m glad they finally updated it. I’m loving the fact that I can change tags on individual photos, before I can only do that for the uploadr on Macs.

Now all I need is actually taking the time to take photos. I’ve been thinking of visiting Guelph’s very own Arboretum, but with labs, assignments and other misc. all lined up on my to do list, looks like my photo time will have to be once again placed on the back burner.

Speaking of photos, back in December when I had my gathering, my buddy Alex gave me an oppertunity to play around with multiple crazy filters his dad made when he was a kid. The end result was amazing, the fact that it was home made certainly adds to the “hip” factor. These filter basically takes the circle of confusion concept, adds a shape to it (instead of a circle), resulting in shapes forming on bokeh light sources. Turns out, you can make these filters by simply cutting a shape into a black piece of construction paper and sticking it onto the side of your lens, very cool stuff!
