Core body heat 4

It’s only three days into the W08 semester and I’m already piled with readings, pre-labs and more readings. Nevertheless, I have to say some of the courses seems really interesting.

Anal Probe
So I was attending the first lecture of HK*4320 – Work Physiology yesterday at Graham Hall (which, about 99.9% of the class did not know it existed till we checked our schedule) — it was your regular first-day-of-class spiel, going through the course outline/syllabus and introduction topics. Anyways, one of our labs: Thermoregulation – Exercise intensity and heat storage, requires us to measure core body heat before, during, and after different exercise intensity on different subjects, student subjects, more specifically, class-mate subjects.

“Measurement of core body heat… we’ll probably do it rectally”, said my professor. The class fell silent, he’s joking right?

“It really isn’t as bad as it sounds, you might feel a little discomfort, but it’s not painful or anything”.

I wonder how many people will drop this class by the end of the week?
