Mac OS X Leopard

Now that we know the release date of Leopard (Oct. 26th, ‘07), the only question remain:

To buy, or not to buy?

On one hand, it’s the newest OS, lots of cool new functionalities, on the other hand, I don’t really need them. And despite many assurance, I’m still a tad scared about my G5 not running Leopard properly now that Apple is focused on Intel based Macs. Although seriously, 2.1 GHz PowerPC and 1.5 GB of RAM should be able to run Leopard no problem.

Anyone has any thoughts?

You’re worried about your G5 not running leopard well?!?!?!?!?

    hahaha I’m planning on upgrading and I’m using a Powerbook 1.5 G4

Although upgrading to a new intel mac would be sweet… maybe an ultraportable ;)

Upgrading to a new intel mac would definitely be sweet. As for your G4, let me know how the upgrading goes!

But seriously, I know I will end up upgrading no matter what, I’m a geek like that.
