That was a close one…. 2

It was just like any other day, wakes up, make my breakfast — one egg, two sausages, and a glass of milk. Eat said breakfast, brush my teeth, wash my face, grab my books, drive to school… that’s when it happened.
As I was turning into South Ring Rd. at Gordon and South Ring on a yellow light, a car rushed into the intersection off of the opposite direction of Gordon, and braked within inches of my car. All I had time to think about was “What the bleep“. Then as the other car came to a screechy stop, I mouthed “Are you insane?” and then calmly drove away. The other guy didn’t honk, neither did I, it was as if nothing happened.
Weirdly enough, I thought about the following things seconds after I started driving down South Ring:
1) Dead Like Me. The character Georgia Lass was so right. She said the following in the pilot episode just before she was struck by a toilet seat falling out of space:
They say your entire life flashes in front of your eyes the moment before you die? That might be true if you’re terminally ill, or your parachute doesn’t open…
But if death sneaks up on you, the only thing you have time to think is…
“Aw, s**t.”
2) “I have to blog about this today”.
I know, of all things, I think about blogging my almost car accident. I scare myself sometimes.

Haha, if it only worked that way Katie! I think there would be a lot more accidents on the street, definitely NOT a good thing!
